Posts about real school tragedy, crime and/or events can be upsetting.

You’ll find nepotism in almost any business, most notably in the U.S. White House. School districts are no different. Relatives help relatives become gainfully employed.

I once managed the student services side of a school transportation department while my husband managed the vehicle maintenance side.

BLOG POST #133: This week, I’m sharing research on a specific criminal case involving a female teacher and coach.

Nepotism

The husband and wife both worked at the school, a small co-ed PreK through 12th-grade private Christian school with approximately 250 students. In fact, the wife’s mother also taught at the school. There will be more on the husband at the end of the post.

Posts about real school tragedy, crime and/or events can be upsetting.

Nothing makes me angrier than an adult abusing a child. Yes, there are children with mental illness who can misbehave, sometimes criminally.

Most children are innocent little beings who just want to have fun, be cared for and be loved.

Most parents trust the people who work at schools to look out for their child’s safety and welfare while in their custody. Sadly, parents should not have trusted this sexual predator.

Researching and writing about creepy people and disgusting behavior is worth it when someone who’s read one of my stories or blog posts notices questionable behavior connected to a school and says or does something about it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Keep your eyes open and never assume children are safe at school. If something seems amiss, it probably is. Say something.

A freshman went on an overnight trip to a school sponsored basketball tournament and ended up in the hospital.

Locker Room Secrets

It had been a longstanding rite of passage for freshman basketball players to receive a ‘racking in’ from the older players. In other words, they received a beating.

Posts about real school tragedy, crime and/or events can be upsetting.

From all my research, I’d say child pornography is the number one crime (in volume) at or connected to schools.

If you’ve been following my posts for any length of time, you see more pedophile stories than any other.

This post is troubling, but certainly not an isolated crime.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to learn there’s a lot more going on at school than you think. When parents and communities use their knowledge to make a positive difference – everyone wins, especially children.

BLOG POST #95: This week, I’m sharing research on a specific criminal case involving a retired teacher, volunteer, athletic trainer at a high school.

It should be a no-brainer when a retired teacher volunteers at the high school where he once taught. Right?

Neither snow nor rain…

He worked as a high school social studies and English teacher before his retirement. After retirement, he volunteered as a high school football and wrestling trainer as the same school.
