***SEXUAL ABUSE CASE – READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED***
If youâve ever been in an abusive relationship, you can understand how the abuser can manipulate their significant other into doing horrific acts like in the true-crime case summary youâre about to read. Nothing justifies any type of abuse.
BLOG POST #264: Predators Are Everywhere
When you take your children to the mall, to church, to visit a friend in the hospital, your child being sexually abused in the restroom never enters your mind.
Sadly, predators are everywhere. Perhaps parents should consider this reality when a child needs to use the restroom (boys and girls). And perhaps parents should caution older children (boys and girls) before they go to the mall with friends. Sure, they’ll roll their eyes and think you’re over-protective, but you’ve planted the warning in their mind.
The couple in this case hunted for their victims in the restrooms of public locationsâa popular fast-food restaurant, a regional hospital, shopping mall, retail stores, and church. At the time of their sentencing, the female was 32, and her boyfriend was 30.
The boyfriend asked the girlfriend to find young children in public restrooms that she could coerce into sexually explicit conduct so she could take photos for him. Sometimes she live-streamed the acts for her boyfriend to watch in real time.
As youâve read in other case summaries, when someone shares pornography through directly sending to a specific person or uploading to a sharing website those are federal crimes because the files traveled in interstate commerce.
Thanks to Project Safe Childhood, they caught these two sexual predators. The men, women and network of law enforcement agencies behind Project Safe Childhood work tirelessly to âcatchâ sexual predators. Hereâs a fact sheet if youâd like to know more about PROJECT SAFE CHILDHOOD FACT SHEET.
The female in this case pleaded guilty to five counts of producing child pornography and two counts of attempting to produce child pornography. A federal judge sentenced her to 24 years in prison.
The male in this case pleaded guilty to four counts of producing child pornography and two counts of attempting to produce child pornography. The same federal judge sentenced him to 30 years in prison.
There is no early release from a federal prison.
