BLOG POST #221: This week, Iām sharing some behind the scene stuff about the upcoming spin-off mystery/thriller series, Pikeās Alley Private Investigation. Book one, currently untitled, is planned to release toward the end of 2020.
In the School Marshal series, book one, Mac MacKenna had recently retired from special operations in the Air Force and returned to his hometown, Brookfield. He agreed to go undercover as the school marshal at Blackstone Academy for one school year. With the end of the school year and the end of his commitment not far off, Macās making plans for what he wants to do next.
In Unknown Alliance, book two in the series, Mac met Nico Stark, a self-employed, no questions asked, referral only chauffeur who lost his previous ādream jobā with the FBI because of booze. They became better friends in Unknown Event, book three in the series.
With Nicoās six years of experience in the FBI, eight years as an Army MP, and his masterās degree in Criminology, he can easily obtain a California Private Investigator License through the Department of Consumer Affairs.
Nicoās not sure heāll ever be reinstated to the FBI. After assisting Mac with crime-solving in Unknown Alliance and Unknown Event, he pitched his idea to Mac that the two of them should start a private investigation business together.
Macās all in. But he also doesnāt want to leave Blackstone Academy high and dry. Knowing Roni isnāt ready to be the school marshal, Mac calls a fellow USAF veteran.
Stay tuned for the new Pikeās Alley PI series and more from the continuing School Marshal series. Unknown Revenge, book four in the School Marshal series, will release in 2020.
