Hello! I’m Robin Lyons

I write mystery/thriller novels.

I’m a mystery/thriller author who worked in public education for twenty-nine years.

Before retirement, I ran for and was elected to the school board in my hometown. Small town politics was enlightening. Six years into the school board position a beloved principal was gunned down in his office. The loss felt by the school district and community was tremendous. This traumatic event, my work experience, and my true-crime research provide inspiration for my novels.

Robin Lyons Blog

My reader club members aren’t pressured to buy anything. It’s a forum for me to stay connected to friends who enjoy my stories and friends who want to stay connected with me.

First, as a thank you for joining the club, you’ll receive a free eBook copy of “MAC: A Prequel Novella” ($2.99 value), where you’ll learn more about Mac MacKenna, the hometown hero in the School Marshal Series.

Then every Saturday, you’ll receive a brief email with a personal update, researched true-crime summaries, updates on new books, behind the scene details, or info about exclusive *giveaways. I write short emails so you can read quickly and then get on with your weekend.

*Sadly, because of sweepstakes laws and shipping costs, most of my giveaways are only available to USA residents. My family members aren’t eligible for drawings (sorry, my loves).
